Video API v2.2 Release Notes
Date of Release: June 1, 2022
The Video API v2.2 is released on the Android SDK and the iOS SDK.
This release provides event notification and callback updates on live streaming and live recording methods. In addition, the option to dial multiple phone numbers is added for the PSTN supported methods.
Android SDK

Dial-Out Multiple Phone Numbers: Multiple phone numbers can be dialed from a video room using a single method call. For more information, see Dialing Out to Phone and SIP Endpoint from a Video Room.

Virtual Background: Users can blur their own video background or to use an image from the library as a background. The feature works best with a physical green screen at your backdrop or with uniform lighting on a plain backdrop. Note that this feature is only available for Android native application development using a separate SDK. For more information, see Virtual Background Android SDK v1.0.

Live Recording: The list of callbacks on starting and stopping live recording has been updated. For more information, see Live Recording.
