How to Order Numbers

Follow these steps to provision phone numbers for your EnableX project:

Step 1: Create a Project

Log in to the EnableX Portal and create a project (or select an existing one). Enable the service you need — Voice, SMS, or both.

Step 2: Navigate to Numbers

Go to Numbers in the left navigation of the portal. You will see options to search, order, and manage your number inventory.

Step 3: Search Available Numbers

Select your preferred number from the search results and click Order. The number will be provisioned to your project within minutes for most countries. Some countries may require regulatory documentation (address proof, ID) before activation.

Step 5: Configure the Number

After ordering, configure the number for your use case:

Step 6: Verify & Test

Once configured, test the number by placing an inbound call or sending an SMS. Verify that your webhook receives the event payload correctly.

Most numbers are provisioned instantly. Numbers in regulated countries (India, Germany, UAE) may take 2–5 business days after document verification.

Can I port my existing number to EnableX?

Yes, number porting is available in select countries. Contact your account manager for porting requests and timelines.

Can one number handle both Voice and SMS?

How many numbers can I order?
